Making the trade

Trading my boat off was very difficult for me. I had spent over a year building the boat exactly like I wanted.

I documented my boat build on a boat blog and one of the people that watched the build, made me an offer to trade the partially built Vette for my boat. At first, I just blew it off, but after talking to him more and looking at the car, I knew it was the right thing to do.

If the Vette had not been so well done, I could not have done it.

This is the picture of it right after I rolled it in it's new home. The body had just been painted and temporarily installed on the chassis. No engine, rear tires/wheels, no third member, no transmission, etc., etc., etc.

There was a whole lot of work to do!!!
