UPDATE - Now, for the bad part!!! These headers will not work on the Hemi. I have to start all over again. This time I am building the headers out of stainless steel. Practice makes perfect!
Another first for me. I had to build a custom set of headers to fit my engine combination in the car. It all started with a cardboard template marking where the front end would be, a stack of straight 2 1/2 tubing, and a bunch of 2 1/2 inch bends.
It was a slow process but I have to admit, very rewarding to see them come together.
I had not done much TIG welding but there was no time like the present to perfect (well they are OK, not perfect, ha) my skills.
They turned out pretty nice for my first set of headers.
